L'Oreal Nude Magique Anti-Redness CC Cream & Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation Review.

My Foundation Routine;

              consists of different foundations but lately I have been using L'Oreal Nude Magique Anti-Redness CC Cream (RRP. £9.99) & Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (RRP. £7.69).
First I applied primer to prepare my face and then the L'Oreal CC cream to my blemishes and areas with spots. The first thing you notice at first when you squirt it on the back of your hand is it's unusual green colour, I believe this colour is used to counter the redness. When rubbed it in turns into more of a concealer and is easy to apply with hands or brush, I use a make-up pad. It did indeed reduce the redness and made them less noticeable. After I took a make-up sponge and applied the Dream Matte Mousse, it was a smooth application. On my cheeks and forehead it created a flawless look however my more effected area being around my nose and lips I noticed dry skin around my imperfection's. It was annoying but with a bit more Mousse added it helped it be less noticeable. I believe this was due to the nature of my skin at this moment.

I have had the Mousse and CC cream for little over 7 weeks now the CC cream is coming to an end however the Mousse because you don't need a lot to give you that flawless finish has lasted longer than expected. Although the prices are high I do believe they are priced rightly for the finish they give your face, I would recommend them and will be buying again. Do however make sure you get the right skin tone on the Matt Mousse as the wrong skin colour will give unwanted final look!

CLINIQUE ANTI BLEMISH SOLUTIONS 3 STEP SYSTEM REVIEW

Clinque Anti-Blemish Solution's 3 Step System

Being a well known brand, alot was expected from this to help me with those unwanted blemishes I wanted lessened. The retail price for this product taking in consideration of other shops(online and highstreet) was around; £25-90. I tried the steps for first night. my little sister was also trying this product herself. I awaited a clearer face in the morning and was confronted with an eruption of spots and red sores on my face. I told myself maybe it was just bring them up to clear it out; so  carried on for two days. To my disappointment it did not calm down and actually got worse to the state that trying to deal with it was painful.

I do not know if this was a case of skin types or a fault in the product which is bad for Clinique! I discovered my sister was also having the same problems were it had actually increased the spots and blemishes on her face! She had to stop using the product. If you are thinking of  buying this for yourself I would think about going Debenham's and asking the Clinique counter for a sample before throwing money on it.

Nailene French Tip Pen Review

Nailene French Tip Pen

Nailene French Tip Pen was pricey on it's own at the store I bought it from being; Superdrug (can also be purchased at this price from Boots) at the RRP. £5.25 however it can be purchased for cheaper online (Ebay) and even on Tesco online for £3-£4.
The Tip pen was easy application, it slid on lovely and made a white thick coat, which dries quickly. The pen would take getting use to and steady hand to apply though on top of other nail polishers.  The pen needs to be shaken first has it has a press on effect to get the liquid coming out the pen. After using this pen a few times it began to run out already and got hard shaking it to get anything out. I would recommend purchasing this if you're using it for own use and not for work as it won't last long and is quite pricey for how much you get from it.
With the pen also comes a top coat, it dries quick and gives a nice shine for a while but like most top coats it dulls after a while. If you are using this pen on top of acrylic I would recommend using an 'Anti-chip' Nail top coat which you can also buy at SuperDrug that lasted a long time for me and I am still using!
