My Foundation Routine;
consists of different foundations but lately I have been using L'Oreal Nude Magique Anti-Redness CC Cream (RRP. £9.99) & Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (RRP. £7.69).
First I applied primer to prepare my face and then the L'Oreal CC cream to my blemishes and areas with spots. The first thing you notice at first when you squirt it on the back of your hand is it's unusual green colour, I believe this colour is used to counter the redness. When rubbed it in turns into more of a concealer and is easy to apply with hands or brush, I use a make-up pad. It did indeed reduce the redness and made them less noticeable. After I took a make-up sponge and applied the Dream Matte Mousse, it was a smooth application. On my cheeks and forehead it created a flawless look however my more effected area being around my nose and lips I noticed dry skin around my imperfection's. It was annoying but with a bit more Mousse added it helped it be less noticeable. I believe this was due to the nature of my skin at this moment.
I have had the Mousse and CC cream for little over 7 weeks now the CC cream is coming to an end however the Mousse because you don't need a lot to give you that flawless finish has lasted longer than expected. Although the prices are high I do believe they are priced rightly for the finish they give your face, I would recommend them and will be buying again. Do however make sure you get the right skin tone on the Matt Mousse as the wrong skin colour will give unwanted final look!
